Energy Transition is currently the worldwide trend. We help our traditional Oil and Gas Customers, implement solutions that minimize their Carbon emission footprint, using a variety of alternative solutions – such as using Solar, Wind or Hydrogen options to generate power for their sites and we are working together with the Engineering Faculties of Universities in Europe and North America to find commercial applications and bring to market Intellectual Property generated within the Faculties.
We are active participants in a small scale (18 Hubs) pilot project in the European Union for EV Charging Stations, with Power generated autonomously by 100% renewable sources (Solar Panels and Mini-Wind Turbines), designed to be able to add in the future Hydrogen Delivering Pumps for Hydrogen Fueled Cars/Trucks as the latter will gradually start to phase in the market.
The technology for hydrogen Fuel Cells for stationary applications such as standalone (Off-Grid) Cell 5G Towers, back-up Power Generation for critical assets of Hospitals or Power Substations are available today and Quantum is actively marketing the integrated solutions. Our partners in the Hydrogen solutions have a long tenure in their field and most of their R&D teams has worked and still working in Space Programs.
We closely monitor technology developments and evolution in Hydrogen as a fuel for Marine and Aviation applications although commercialization is not in close proximity yet.
